Following his 81-day imprisonment by Chinese authorities in 2011, artist Ai Weiwei has become one of the most celebrated and controversial voices of contemporary art. His accomplishments were fêted with a substantial exhibition at London’s Royal Academy of Arts. Entitled “Ai Weiwei 360”, this exhibition, now viewable in an online format, is the first major showing of the artist’s work in the UK and it reinforces the significance of his artistic voice and his dominant role in contemporary creation.

The online exhibition is on view until 20 November 2016, but the catalogue accompanying the show is equally compelling and features cover artwork by the artist himself.
